One team per district. Everyone must try out. No minimum play time. MUST PLAY IN DISTRICT AND PROVE YOU BELONG IN SAID DISTRICT. That should fix the recruiting and team stacking. And let's be honest some kids are more of a liability than anything else.

And while we're at it - GFL split money equally to participating parks rather than force teams that live 5 min from each other to drive 30-45 min to play each other because the park hasn't met their quota yet.

It's not rocket science. It's football. Keep it simple.

I spoke to some refs on why 2 teams from south part of Gwinnett have drive to buggies to play each other,he said a lot of parks don't have enough teams at their park to play on their rented field

Also make these teams split at 42 so that there are enough in both divisions to create opportunities for teams to be more competitive in D1 and developmental for D2... Parkview 8th grade started with 46 and now have about 33 due to quitting because the coach recruited his team over the summer and only plays 13 of the 33 left.
